07/17 neutrogena clinical

profit: $2.49

i bought:
    neutrogena clinical facial lifting wrinkle treatment spf 30 $34.99
subtotal $34.99

used coupons:= $29.99 + $2.76 tax (used $29.98 eb + $2.77 cvs gc)

    $.25 eb gbt scan (i count each scan as $.25 since 4 scans gives us $1 eb)
will receive:summary:
    spent $29.98 eb + $2.77 cvs gc
    earned $.25 eb + $34.99 mir
    profit: $2.49 ♥

    cvs got $5 in man. coupons to be reimbursed

year to date savings: $1173.10
summer 2010 spending: $6.36
cvs got $268.60 in man. coupons to be reimbursed (since 01/2010)
notes:i heard some rumors that neutrogena may not honor rebates for purchases made with coupons or eb (or rr, +up, etc). i emailed neutrogena to try to find out if this was true or not but didn't get a response.

i figure i'll wait until 7/30 when the mir needs to be postmarked before cutting the upc code off the box. if neutrogena gets back to me by then and says they won't honor it then i can return it to cvs. keeping my fingers crossed though.

update 7/19:

just got an email from neutrogena... :)
