notes:so... i pointed out to the cashier that the contour meter coupon should be entered for $19.99 - but he put it in for the full $30! i asked him again if he was sure that was ok and he said yes. and he was a manager!

since the total was $10 less than i expected, i put away my $20 eb. he could not tell me how much the subtotal before tax was so, i used a $9 eb and then a $2 eb. they both went through but then i wound up in the negative, so i threw in the cashews.

after paying, i realized that i hadn't spent my $20 eb as planned and i really needed to because it was expiring today! so i had to figure a way to spend $20 after i already got all of this week's freebies (except the stapler/sticky notes, which they didn't have.)

so i decided to get the accu-chek meter, since i should be able to get my money back with the mir. (unlike the bayer meters, which do not honor receipts showing payment made with extrabucks.) also did the kashi deal. i was hoping the 2nd store might have those staplers, but no such luck.
