no extrabucks! it seems the register went offline during this purchase. employees at this store were nice enough to return all items to a money card and re-ring.

then he received:
$2.99 eb Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste 4 oz (2/15-2/21)
$1 eb boost (1/4-2/14)
$6 eb ($3 x 2) johnson & johnson (february deal)

seeing that he still did not receive extrabucks for mylanta or bodiheat, we returned those items and received $7.44 on a money card & $.30 cash.

unfortunately i did not realize until later that we only received eb for one colgate instead of 3! sent an email to cvs to see if the eb can be issued to his card. i cannot bear the thought that we paid for toothpaste!

summary:
spent $16 eb + $.30 cash
received $9.99 eb + $7.44 on gc + $.30 cash
profit: $1.43 ♥

year to date savings: $778
winter 2009 spending: $23.18

cost of both transactions combined: $.34
but if we receive $5.98 eb for the 2 colgate... profit: $5.64 ♥

update: i never got an answer to the email i sent cvs about the colgate eb's. so eventually i returned them for $5.98 + tax credit on a cvs moneycard.
